Fuller’s Griffin Brewery has launched its famous special bitter, ESB, in a 5 litre mini-cask, for beer lovers to receive, pour and enjoy in the comfort of their home. Each unit offers 8 pints of the enduringly popular ale which is deep red in colour, with a powerful malt base complemented by a full array of hop flavours in perfect balance.
Available to order from Fuller’s Online Brewery Shop and Voted Britain’s Best on multiple occasions, ESB is brewed in Chiswick beside the River Thames and for the first time in its history, beer lovers will get the chance to savour the cask-conditioned beer at home as well as having it delivered directly to their door.
Once opened, the newly launched Fuller’s ESB 5 Litre mini-cask is advised to be consumed within 3 days for maximum freshness and by standing it on a firm surface and allowing time to settle (minimum 18 hours in a dry, cool place), beer lovers or entrants to ale can practice their pour and experience a proper pint on tap – whatever the occasion.
Twice named World Champion Beer, ESB was first brewed in 1971. At this time, breweries commonly produced both an “ordinary” bitter and a “special”. Fuller’s already had a “special”, London Pride, and added an extra special bitter, ESB, to their renowned portfolio.
