Following public demand from its legion of fans, Purity Brewing Company has put the law in the hands of the people with the launch of Lawless Lager (4.5%) in 330 ml craft can.The maverick brew follows 500-year-old Bavarian brewing law to achieve traditional purity using only four ingredients. The malts; Pilsner, Wheat and Caragold, offer excellent mouthfeel, whilst the lager yeast and Purity’s own mineral rich local water give Lawless it’s unique Purity profile; and all this before the folks at the award-winning brewery add an idiosyncratic twist of their own by adding a blend of Hallertau Northern Brewer and Styrian Goldings hops before a dash of Eldorado is slipped in for a sharp, citrusy kick.
Lawless is then lagered for 40 days according to Flo’s Law (named after head brewer, Flo Vialan) to produce an unfiltered hopped lager beer that is as pure as you can get. Lawless is a great beer to be served with food and superb food matches include lightly spiced fish curries and tempuras, as well as delicate dishes such as shell fish and even oysters.

Lawless 330ml craft cans are available through the brewery’s online bottle shop www.bottleshack.uk as well as at the brewery shop at Upper Spernal Farm, where you can pick up your cans and go on one of Purity’s Saturday brewery tours; 11.00am every Saturday, priced £16.50 per person.
