Award-winning Somerset family-run micro-brewery Quantock Brewery is launching a new series of single hopped pale ales for 2021.
“Obsessed with…” will feature 12 limited edition beers. With a new release scheduled for each month, the Quantock Brewery signature house pale malt base and a natural yeast will be flavoured with frequently used favourites as well as new and exciting hop varieties.

In 2020, our series focused on the Past, Present and Future. 2021 is all about celebrating the hop – the critical ingredient giving beers their distinct flavour and finish. Showcasing hops from Amarillo and Bru-1 to Citra and Mosaic, we can’t wait to share our new “Obsessed with…” series with you.”
Obsessed with… Amarillo – ALC 4.5% VOL
Available now, this is the first single hopped beer the brew crew have made, and they chose Amarillo as it’s one of the team’s favourite hops. You can expect a clean and balanced beer with ample amounts of orange, stone fruits, and grapefruit from the hop resulting in a very moreish finish.
Obsessed with… Bru-1 – ALC 4.5% VOL
Released in February, this new Quantock Brewery beer will be the first using this hotly sought-after hop. You can look forward to a clean, refreshingly drinkable beer designed to allow the hop to shine through to give you massive notes of pineapple, apple and freshly cut grass.
Released in March, this English hop is a firm favourite with both the sales and brewing team. You can look forward to notes of blackcurrant, orange and passion fruit.
Three months ago, Quantock Brewery released their first low alcohol IPA Little & Fierce. After it sold out quickly, the brew crew have been perfecting their second – Featherweight.
Featherweight uses the same yeast as the Quantock Brewery NEIPAs and includes a carefully selected combination of US hops – Citra, Comet and El Dorado. Low in strength, at 3%, it’s big in flavour with hits of grapefruit and citrus flavours and aromas making Featherweight a sessionable and modern beer.

Quantock Brewery is a CAMRA and SIBA assured microbrewery. Currently the taproom is closed however the shop is open in line with guidance. Glasses, bottled beers and cans can be ordered online.
