Abbey Ales prevented from supplying pubs by the Coronavirus lockdown is supplying customers via its online shop from its brewery in Camden Row and sales have rocketed and have overtaken its Christmas orders!
Bath’s own brewery based in the heart of the city is selling its flagship beers Bellringer and Bath Best in 18 pint and 36 pint Beer in a Box locally and nationally.
With the sales pitch “Pub Closed no Problem” the brewery is offering free local delivery within a ten miles radius of Bath and further away deliveries are sent nationally via our courier service.
The brewery started in 1997 and was the first brewery in Bath for over 50 years and runs 4 pubs in Baths city centre The Coeur de Lion The Assembly Inn The Trinity and The Star.
“We thought we would have to close when pubs were closed due to the lockdown but have been overwhelmed by the support we have had from our customers old and new” said Simon Morgan Operations Director. “We are delivering all around Bath and as far away as Scotland.”
