One Of Three European Breweries To Be Chosen To Brew With New Flowable Whirlpool Extract

Round Corner Brewing have today launched their collaboration beer with Yakima Chief Hops, The Simcoe® Experience, which is a 5.2% American Pale Ale.
The award-winning brewery and grower-owned global hop supplier came together on this beer after Yakima Chief Hops were looking for three European breweries to trial their DynaBoost™, formerly YCH 702 Trial extract, flowable whirlpool extract.
Round Corner Brewing were the hop supplier’s choice in the United Kingdom because Yakima Chief Hops believed Round Corner Brewing’s brew team would be able to make an incredible hop-forward beer showcasing the jewel in the YCH crown, Simcoe®.
Suitably named, The Simcoe® Experience, this is an American Pale Ale which pours rich golden. The aroma is a captivating blend of greengage, ripe peach, and pine. Simcoe® T90 added for flavour mid-boil adds a resinous and ripe stone fruit flavour, YCH 702 Simcoe® added to the whirlpool and delivers a whopping 56 IBU of bitterness as well as driving the enticing fruit aromas, the beer is then dry-hopped with Cryo- Simcoe® for the full Simcoe® experience.
Yakima Chief Hops’ brand new DynaBoost™ is a 10 x concentrated whirlpool extract with zero losses, giving brewers a really powerful tool to enhance their beers. And with the addition of Simcoe® T90 and Cryo- Simcoe® in this beer it showcases everything great about the Simcoe® hop.
This beer has been packaged in both 30L kegs and 440ml cans and is available to order from the Round Corner Brewing webshop from Thursday 18th April and is available to trade customers from Monday 22nd April.
For any craft beer lover looking to get a taste of this beer for the first time on draught, then the Round Corner Brewing Taproom will be pouring it for the first time at their Fresh Pour Friday on Friday 19th April from 5pm.

“We love Simcoe® and use lots of it in our hop forward beers like Steeplechase Pale Ale. This though, was a great opportunity for us to do a single hop varietal modern APA. We combined Simcoe® T90s with the DynaBoost™, flowable whirlpool extract and dry hopped with Cryo Simcoe®, to show off what Simcoe® is all about and we just love the end product.”
