Vale of York based Rudgate Brewery are celebrating the forthcoming arrival of Le Tour to Yorkshire with a special cycling inspired Brew. “It is a great honour that Le Tour will be coming to Yorkshire and travelling through our county – and it is this that has inspired our Brewers to create Bicycale” said Craig Lee MD “We wanted to create a beer which would be perfect to enjoy either after going out cycling or to enjoy whilst watching others do the hard work and cheering them on!”.
Bicycale is a pale, refreshing beer with light flavours and a fruity tangerine nose and an ABV of 4% – it will be available from the 19th May in cask and also bottles.

Rudgate Brewery was established in 1992 and is based in the heart of Yorkshire in the Vale of York. The original brewery was situated in the former ammunition building of RAF Marston Moor Airfield. The name comes from the old Roman road of ‘Rudgate’ which runs through the airfield.
