SALCOMBE BREWERY CO. APPOINTS NEW COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Jordan Mace, Salcombe Brewery Co.'s new Commercial Director

Salcombe Brewery Co. is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jordan Mace to the newly created role of Commercial Director as the company continues to expand to meet the growing market for its award-winning beers. Jordan, whose background includes experience with Barcadi Brown Forman, Fuller’s and Guy Ritchie’s brewery, joins at an exciting time for Salcombe Brewery Co. which has just experienced its busiest week in the brewery’s history.

Chairman John Tiner explains: “During the past several months and as we approached the emergence from lockdown, we made a substantial investment in the business including establishing our own bottling, canning and kegging facility, increasing our brewing capacity by threefold, forming long term strategic partnerships with a number of key customers and investing in the capabilities of the Salcombe Brewery Team. To support our growth we created the role of Commercial Director and I am delighted to welcome Jordan Mace to this position.”

John continues: “Jordan joins us at a key stage in our development with sales rocketing this summer due to our new partnerships, some key retail listings and the full reopening of hospitality businesses combined with some fantastic sport viewing opportunities and significantly more people staying in the UK for their holidays than usual. Jordan’s expertise and experience will be pivotal to the business as we move forward and I am really looking forward to working with Jordan in the future.”

Jordan Mace started his career in the drinks industry when he graduated from the University of Nottingham and managed a number of bars and restaurants. He then joined Bacardi Brown Forman initially in East Anglia before moving into London to manage some of the influential multi-site operators there and across the South East. He moved to Fuller’s in 2013 to set up a craft-focused sales team and worked on a range of import brand relationships including Sierra Nevada, Veltins, Chimay and Alhambra. After Fuller’s he helped launch Longflint Drinks, a start up brand now owned by East London Liquor Company and then worked with a team to establish Gritchie Brewery Co. for the film director Guy Ritchie.

Jordan comments: “ I am so excited to be joining Salcombe Brewery Co. at a time of such rapid growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to share my knowledge and skills with a dynamic young team in the most stunning part of the UK. I am looking forward to being part of their ongoing success story. “
