Festival-goers at this summer’s Smoked & Uncut, the popular open air live music events launched by boutique hotel group THE PIG in 2013, will be able to enjoy a range of beer, cider and hard seltzer from independent brewer Shepherd Neame.
In keeping with THE PIG’s local ethos, Shepherd Neame’s award-winning Whitstable Bay Blonde Lager and Spitfire Amber Ale have been stocked at THE PIG-at Bridge Place, just 12.5 miles from the Faversham-based brewery, for three years. Its cider Orchard View and premium lager Five Grain are also stocked at all eight of THE PIG’S unique hotels across the South and South West.
Following the success of the partnership, Shepherd Neame’s diverse range will be on offer at THE PIG and Lime Wood’s Smoked & Uncut festivals for the first time from June to August this year. The four events are taking place in Kent, Somerset and the New Forest. Music-lovers will be able to enjoy beers including the hop-forward tastes of Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale and Bear Island Triple Hopped Lager, alongside alcoholic sparkling water, Truly Hard Seltzer.
Shepherd Neame Marketing Manager Louise Buet said: “We are excited to extend our partnership with The Pig, offering our award-winning brands to those attending Smoked & Uncut. We look forward to a summer of fantastic music, delicious food and introducing festival-goers to our diverse range of drinks.”
THE PIG and Lime Wood’s Digital Marketing Manager Helen Roberts said: “Smoked & Uncut are dedicated to bringing festival-goers a better experience year-on-year.
