Shepherd Neame Launches Its Spring Photography Competition for 2026 With Fantastic Prizes to Be Won

Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, is launching its Spring Photography Competition for 2026, with some fantastic prizes to be won.

To celebrate a new year, the independent family brewer and pub company is once again inviting everyone to get out and capture its heartland during the changing seasons – whether that’s its natural landscapes, springtime sights, or the wonder of wildlife.

One winner will receive a top prize of a £150 Shepherd Neame gift card and four runners-up will each receive a £25 gift card.

Shepherd Neame has been running its popular photography contest since 2022. Last year’s winner, Jim Higham, from Canterbury, scooped first prize with his image of a kingfisher on the River Stour at Canterbury.

Other winning images included a surprised squirrel, a beach stroll, springtime snowdrops and a ladybird.

To enter, simply capture the perfect moment and send it to comms@shepherdneame.co.uk by lunchtime on Monday, March 23, with a couple of lines explaining where the photo was taken and any other background information. If there is a Shepherd Neame link, bonus points will be awarded!

Entries must be taken in Shepherd Neame’s heartland, where its pubs are - Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Hampshire and London.

Email up to three images, ensuring photos are in jpg format and at least 1MB in size.

The winning images will also be displayed at Shepherd Neame’s Brewery in Court Street, Faversham later in the year.
