St Austell Brewery launches korev 4x440ml Can Pack

St Austell Brewery has launched its flagship Cornish lager, korev (4.8% abv) in new 4 can packs (4 x 440ml). The cans will be available in all leading supermarkets across the South West, launching first in Tesco stores from 12th February.

Born in Cornwall and inspired by its home county, korev is brewed in a Helles style with as much Cornish-grown barley St Austell Brewery can get its hands on. It’s packed with delicate and refreshing flavours, finished with a clean and crisp taste.

As well as being available on draught in pubs across the country, korev is also available in 12x330ml bottles and single 500ml bottles in supermarkets nationwide.

Charlie Johnston, Head of Off-Trade for St Austell Brewery, said: “We can’t wait to see our new bigger 440ml korev cans on the supermarket shelves. korev has become hugely popular amongst lager drinks and continues to go from strength to strength since its major rebrand in 2021.

“The 4x440ml pack format is one of the fasted growing formats in the world beer category. We hope the new cans will appeal to lager lovers across the South West.”

Since its vibrant rebrand in 2021 – and boosted by the growing demand for Helles style lager – korev saw off trade volumes increase +25% across 2023, outperforming nine of the top 10 selling World Beer brands.

It also saw volume growth across all off trade regions in 2023 vs 2022.*  korev took home a gold medal at the International Brewing Awards shortly after its rebrand, being named best international small pack lager in the world, too.
