This Father’s Day why not take Dad out on the pull? Don’t panic, we’re talking pulling ale at the award-winning Thames-side gastropub, The Gun, Docklands, where a fantastic Ale Festival is taking place over Father’s Day weekend.
Jam-packed with bombastic brews and fabulous food, the three-day festival in the gastropub’s covered, outdoor garden will feature beers and ciders from top London and UK brewersincluding the likes of: Late Knights; Shamblemoose; Weird Beard Brew Co.; Adnams; Sambrooks and Harviestoun to name but a few.
Meet the brewer sessions will give him the chance to quiz the experts on the best brews around, and there will be lawn games galore in the garden which looks across the river to the O2.
Advance tickets of just £10 (£12 on the day) will get Dad five half pints of any of the beers or ales available on draught, and there will be plenty of hearty food to keep your ale-intake steady from steaming dishes of paella to juicy hog-roast rolls.
