The Butchers Arms, Forsbrook Welcomes New Landlords Nicola Gresty and Mark Ball

Joule’s Brewery is delighted to announce that Nicola Gresty and Mark Ball have taken on the tenancy of The Butchers Arms, opening their doors to the village on Tuesday 10th February, from the evening onwards.

To celebrate and to say a proper hello to the local community, Nicola and Mark will be offering 200 free pints on opening night, inviting neighbours and regulars alike to pop in, raise a glass, and get to know the new faces behind the bar.

The couple are excited to begin this new chapter at the much-loved village pub, bringing warmth, personality, and a strong sense of connection to the heart of the community.

Nicola and Mark said: “We wanted to run The Butchers Arms because we completely fell in love with the style of the pub and the lovely village it sits in. It instantly felt right - and with Mark having been a butcher for many years, it almost felt written in the stars. There’s something really special about that connection, and we’re looking forward to having a bit of fun with it - a playful nod to Mark’s past, and a warm, welcoming future for the pub.”

Joule’s Brewery looks forward to working closely with Nicola and Mark as they settle into The Butchers Arms and begin building a pub that reflects both its heritage and the people it serves.
