The George & Dragon, Marlow to Host Pub in the Park 2026 Launch Event

The George & Dragon in Marlow is proud to host the official launch event for Pub in the Park 2026 today, welcoming guests for an evening of exceptional food, drink, and celebration.

Set in the pub's outdoor courtyard, the event will see approximately 60 invited guests enjoy a first taste of what's to come at this year's highly anticipated Pub in the Park festival.

Guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception provided by award-winning English sparkling wine Chapel Down, setting the tone for an evening that celebrates the very best of local hospitality.

General Manager Ben Donald said: "Hosting the Pub in the Park 2026 launch is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the incredible food and drink scene we have here in Marlow. Bringing together so many talented local restaurants and partners in our pub is something we're really proud to be a part of."

A highlight of the event will be a curated tasting experience featuring dishes from five of Marlow's leading restaurants, including The George & Dragon itself. Each venue will contribute specially prepared portions of their signature offerings, allowing invitees to sample the dishes that will be available at the four-day event.

For those travelling to Marlow for the festival weekend, The George & Dragon, which features 17 boutique style bedrooms, still has a number of these available to book. The pub with rooms offers the perfect base to enjoy everything Pub in the Park has to offer, ideally placed opposite the park.

The event marks the official countdown to Pub in the Park, which returns to Higginson Park, Marlow from 14th–17th May 2026. Widely regarded as the UK's favourite foodie festival, the four-day event combines world-class chefs, award-winning restaurants and live music.

This year's chef line-up includes Si King, Raymond Blanc OBE, James Martin, Tommy Banks and Emily English, alongside appearances from Matt Tebbutt and Helen McGinn, plus local favourite Atul Kochhar will also return.

Festivalgoers can expect an exciting mix of returning favourites and new additions. Popular names such as The Oarsman, The Star Inn, Ginger Wings and Rick Stein will be joined by newcomers including Temper and Six by Nico, bringing bold, diverse flavours to the park.

Music remains at the heart of the festival, with headline performances from McFly, Razorlight, Craig David, Gabrielle and Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, promising an unforgettable atmosphere across the weekend.

Tickets, starting from £47, are on sale now, with VIP and premium Riverside Enclosure packages also available.

With an unbeatable combination of food, music and experiences, Pub in the Park 2026 is set to be the highlight of the spring calendar.
