The Guild of Food Writers Awards 2026 Call For Entries

The Guild of Food Writers Awards were established in 1996 and are presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in food writing and broadcasting.

You do not need to be a member of The Guild of Food Writers to enter. You may nominate your own or someone else’s work.

There are 15 main awards categories

• Cookery Book 

• Debut Book 

• Food Book

• International or Regional Cookery Book

• Single Topic Cookery Book

• Specialist Cookery Book

• Newcomer

• Food Podcast or Broadcast

• Food Writer 

• Cookery Writer 

• Restaurant Writer 

• Drinks Writer

• Investigative Food Writer

• Food Magazine or Supplement

• Self-Published Online Food Writer  

The closing date for completing entry forms for 2026 is Monday, 19 January 2026 and all materials must be with the judges by Monday, 2 February 2026.
