The Rising Sun achieves Master Cellarman status

Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce that Jane and Colin Ainsworth, licensees of The Rising Sun in Isleworth, have achieved Master Cellarman status.
The Master Cellarman award recognises consistently outstanding cellar quality in Fuller’s pubs, with managers and tenants needing to sustain a score of at least 96% across four visits from Fuller’s Beer Quality Team throughout the year. Fuller’s offers in-depth cellar training courses to provide pub teams with the necessary skills to ensure our customers always get the best possible pint in a Fuller’s pub.
A favourite in the town of Isleworth, The Rising Sun is a classic local pub striving to be the heart of the community with regular, weekly events. A pub quiz and a concentrated effort to make sure all the best occasions are on TV complement both a traditional menu and a proud selection of cask ales passionately poured for passing commuters and regular visitors alike.

Jane said: “It is nice to be given this award to prove that we do serve quality cask ale and we are over the moon to accept it after all the hard work that we’ve put in.”
John Keeling, Head Brewer, said: “It’s such a pleasure to give this award to a person who lives and breathes cask ale. When you visit the pub you can be safe in the knowledge that the beer they serve is in the best possible condition, just as it is when it leaves the brewery gates.”
