23 February 2021: As news of a potential roadmap out of lockdown emerges, hospitality operators are being offered free online training for staff by some of the brightest brains in the industry.
Born out of a desire to support the sector to come back swinging post-lockdown, through inspiration and education, the free training is being provided by leading hospitality CRM and gift card platforms, Airship and Toggle, delivered in partnership with industry professionals and technology partners. The masterclass series is particularly timely for furloughed staff, allowing operators a way to keep them engaged and offer upskilling opportunities.
The webinars will take place every Thursday at 1pm, with sessions confirmed so far covering the key steps to ensure interaction with enquiries converts to bookings; the life cycle of a bill; how to unlock additional revenue through B2B channels; how reservation tech is responding to changing consumer behaviour; pricing to avoid leaving money on the table; and ensuring your business is environmentally sustainable post-covid.
