Romsey Gold ale is being launched today in a new 500ml bottle to compliment the already popular draught cask brand. At 4.5% abv, Romsey Gold is crisp, refreshing and pale golden in colour; offering drinkers the perfect bottled beer to take chilled as quenching summer ale.
Romsey Gold is currently available from local farm shops, off licences and the Flak Shack Brewery Store on Romsey Industrial Estate, with more distribution channels planned. A contribution from the sales of Romsey Gold bottled beer will be donated to Romsey and Hampshire based charities.
Romsey Gold is brewed by independent local brewers Flack Manor Brewery and joins a successful family of award winning bottled beers – Flack’s Double Drop 3.7% abv, Flack Catcher 4.5% abv and Black Jack Porter 4.6% abv. Follow our news and events on Facebook and Twitter.

Flack Manor Brewery is an independent brewery based in Romsey, Hampshire. Set up in December 2009 by Nigel Welsh, previously a director of a successful southern brewery, Flack Manor aims to bring quality cask brewing back to Romsey using the traditional method of Double Dropping. An award winning range of cask ale and bottled beer is available through pub and club outlets in the surrounding areas of Romsey as well as through their own brewery shop The Flak Shack.
