WADWORTH UNLEASH THE DRAGON EARLY FOR THE SIX NATIONS

St George & the Dragon  is one of Wadworth’s most popular seasonal ales and usually makes a welcome appearance in the pubs in the lead up to St George’s day in April.

But this year the Devizes-based brewers are releasing the beer a little early to allow England supporters to cheer on their team in the Six Nations Rugby Tournament with a pint of this most English of brews.

The beer will hit the Wadworth pubs in time for the Six Nations tournament in February.
“St George & the Dragon is such a popular beer we thought people would appreciate our extending its availability so that they can enjoy it from February right through until after St George’s day,”  said Sales and Marketing Director Paul Sullivan.
“It’s a thoroughly traditional ale and a perfect pint to enjoy while cheering on the English team on the big screen at the pub. Its easy drinking qualities will see drinkers through the dark days of February and into early Spring.”
A refreshing, biscuity beer, St George & The Dragon has a crisp and tangy palate. It has hints of orange and blackcurrant and has been established as a popular annual favourite for many years.
The ale will be available on draught in selected pubs throughout Wadworthshire from February to April.
