The Multi Award-Winning, Royal Warrant Holding brewery’s first ever equity crowdfunding campaign launches this week, looking to raise funds for a major expansion of its pub and bar estate.
Founded in 2010 in the heart of Windsor, the brewery has enjoyed great success with its beers, winning over 70 international, national, and regional awards, going on to receive a royal warrant to supply beer to Her Majesty the Queen in 2018.
The brewery is offering up to 10% share equity, with investment starting from as little as £12.50. The fundraiser is being run by leading UK crowdfunding platform Seedrs.
- As with most crowdfunds the campaign launched privately initially, on Friday 25th June, to the brewery’s close community who had pre-registered interest in the raise.
- Within two days of this private launch, over £350,000 was invested, surpassing an initial target of £300,000.
- To allow as many people to invest as possible, Windsor & Eton have opened up another £300,000 in share equity, bringing their new target to £600,000.
As well as receiving shares in the brewery, investors can expect a range of exciting rewards and perks for joining in the campaign. These range from having your name tagged on the brewery’s new taproom wall for all to see, to joining Windsor & Eton’s Head Brewer for the day to learn all about the brewing process, and even help brew a beer that you’ll receive once it’s ready a few weeks later!
Managing Director and Windsor resident Will Calvert explained:
“2021 is shaping up to be a really important year for the brewery. Our brand new taproom is due to open later this summer, offering locals and visitors the chance to enjoy fresh beer and freshly cooked food here at the brewery”
