Woodforde’s Brewery has unveiled its exciting new keg branding to match the strong on-trade presence boasted by its renowned cask range.

The multi-award-winning brewery’s new look has been applied across its entire keg range ahead of Norfolk Day – including on keg lenses and glassware at pubs stocking its beers nationwide.

It will also see its increasingly popular English Lager renamed as Woodforde’s Lager and Volt 0.5 rebranded to Woodforde’s 0.5 – highlighting the prestige and quality associated with the brewery’s name.

The change aims to celebrate the brewery’s Norfolk roots, with nods to beloved local landmarks like Norwich Cathedral, natural beauty spots and the famous Wherry boats which gave name to its first ever beer.

It is hoped the new-look will bring the brewery’s keg product more in-line with its well-established cask range, which has continued to be the backbone of Woodforde’s national success.

Paul Sullivan, CEO of Woodforde’s, said: “We are absolutely delighted to unveil our new branding.

“These simple yet captivating designs will fit in seamlessly with the competitors on the bar – they stand out for all the right reasons.

“We remain committed to our cask roots and our multi-award-winning range of traditional ales, but it was about time we brought our keg products into a uniform range.

“Our name is synonymous with quality – and this new look with our name proudly at the centre will only create further trust and connection with customers looking for a quality pint, whether that’s cask, keg, bottle or can.”

The unveiling comes after the brewery released its latest foray into the pale ale market, Woodforde’s Pale Ale, at this year’s Royal Norfolk Show.

The 4% vegan and gluten free beer was also brewed as a celebration of Nelson’s County and proved a hit at this year’s show – with customers queuing at the bar to get their hands on the first pints.

Woodforde’s Pale Ale, alongside other beers in the brewery’s extensive range of keg products will be served in the new-look glasses, while its range of canned beers will also feature Norfolk-themed artwork.

Paul added: “We’ve listened to what our customers want – they don’t just want us to be the Taste of Norfolk, they want us to champion our magnificent home county and bask in the glory of our beautiful Broadland home.

“It has been a joy working alongside local illustrator Owen Mathers on the designs who has perfectly captured the splendour of our beautiful county – they would certainly make me want to visit.

“Every keg lens and glass shows exactly who we are – a brewery proud of our heritage serving up quality beer.”

Marked every year on July 27, Norfolk Day is an annual celebration honouring the rich history, culture and community spirit of Nelson’s County.
