(Lazer) Crush your boredom this January with Beavertown

Monday 4th January 2021 – Dry January has arrived and for those looking to keep having fun but cut the alcohol, Beavertown Brewery’s Lazer Crush is bringing the party. While some consider taking a break from alcohol to be ‘dry’ in more than one way, Lazer Crush is the perfect beer to banish boredom and bring that first-pint feeling into 2021.

A robust and hoppy IPA that’s full of flavour but free of alcohol, it was created to provide an uncompromising tasting beer for all occasions. Priced from £1.60 per 330ml can on the Beavertown webshop, Lazer Crush is only 83kCal, offering a guilt-free option to keep the taste and excitement of a good brew without breaking those new year resolutions.

Created with a new type of yeast, it provides even more fruit flavour with only 0.3% ABV created during fermentation. With each taste, drinkers can enjoy the journey through its crisp and mildly malty base before hoppy notes emerge, followed by a wave of fruity undertones. From mango and the sweet orange taste of Amarillo to zesty citrus and grapefruit bitterness, Lazer crush is perfectly balanced and topped with subtle notes of pine for that ultimate fresh taste.

For those who want to cut back but not cut out alcohol, this January, Beavertown Brewery’s Nanobot is an alternative treat to toast the new year. A 2.8% IPA, packed with juicy citrus and tropical top notes, it’s only 97 kcal per can. Available from £1.90 on the Beavertown webshop, it’s a lighter option for those who want it, complete with Sabro and Simcoe hops to offer a punchy citrus and tropical taste sensation.

Both Lazer Crush and Nanobot are available from Beavertown’s online shop and selected stores. Lazer Crush will also be available in selected Sainsbury’s stores from 3rd January.

About Beavertown
Beavertown is dedicated to crafting high quality, innovative beers like Gamma Ray APA or Neck Oil SIPA that appeal to the thirsty masses, as well as more experimental brews from our Tempus Project. From brewing to branding, we believe in creativity in everything we do.

At Beavertown, we believe beer is more than just a beer, it’s an experience; which is why we host a weekly Saturday taproom to give people the chance to taste our carefully crafted beer in its natural habitat, our own Tottenham brewery

Now eight years old, Beavertown began life on a 650L kit in a BBQ joint in Haggerston. The brewery in Tottenham Hale produces 5500L batches (or 9,000,000 pints a year) and our new home in Enfield – Beaverworld – will allow Beavertown to produce ten times this, a staggering 90,000,000 pints a year.

The official craft beer of Tottenham Hotspur F.C., you can enjoy a crisp pint of your favourite Beavertown brew in our new taproom and microbrewery inside the stadium – the first of its kind
