What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

Master Trainer and an accredited European Beer Consumers Union beer judge.

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

Tutored tasting presenter including food and beer matching (BBC Good Food Show, Ludlow Food Festival, Great British Beer Festival etc). People 1st (part of the Hospitality Guild) Master Trainer delivering accredited training programmes on train the trainer, beer appreciation, judging and taste training to consumers and trade including breweries and pubs e.g. Wetherspoons. Lectured at CityLit.

 

Regular contributor to London Drinker Magazine on beer and breweries. Occasional contributor to What’s Brewing. Regular beer judge including the International Beer Challenge, SIBA, chairing at CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain and an accredited Beer Consumers Union beer judge. Past director of CAMRA holding various posts such as the Great British Beer Festival organiser (first woman to hold the post), strategy director and publications director. Beer Marketing Awards judge and former CEO of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?

Networking, information provision and education. Great place for talking to people with an interest in the beer industry, sharing ideas and new thinking.
