Organised by volunteer members of CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) and now in its 23rd year, the annual CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival takes place from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st March 2020 at Brunel’s Old Station, Temple Meads, Bristol. This is the largest real ale dedicated event in our area and will include a carefully chosen selection of around 140 different real ales on sale over the course of the festival as well as our what promises to be our biggest ever range of cider and perry. There will also be a variety of food available at all sessions.

Tickets for all sessions will cost £12.50 including £5 worth of beer festival tokens, which customers will receive on entry enabling them to go straight to the bar. Also included are a festival programme and a commemorative half pint glass, marked for third and half-pint measures. On presentation of a current membership card, CAMRA members will also receive a voucher on entry up to the value of £1.80.

Bristol & District Branch Chairman Richard Brooks said:

“This is the event that thousands of fans of great beer, cider and perry eagerly look forward to each year. Nowhere else in the Bristol area will you be able to find such a huge range of real ale, carefully selected to provide an interesting variety of beer styles and strengths.
The festival features a great selection of real ale from around the UK as well as being a celebration and showcase of the fantastic brewing scene in the Bristol area and features all our local breweries on the festival LocAle bar.
It’s the perfect opportunity for attendees to sample and really appreciate the quality and variety of craft real ale currently available.
We also have a cracking range of traditional cider and perry as well as a choice of food at all sessions.
The festival always has a fun and friendly atmosphere and key to the success of the event is that it is organised and run by unpaid CAMRA volunteers who take part because they are beer enthusiasts that want the event to be a great success for everyone that attends.
