It is three years since the Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival has taken place and we are delighted to announce that it returns in April 2022 to Osborne Park in Newton Abbot under a new name, MaltingsFest, and with a larger selection of beers, both craft and cask, local ciders and local spirits (gins, whisky & rum)
MaltingsFest is run by SIBA – The Society of Independent Brewers in the South West and features the largest selection of draught beers from Westcountry Brewers – there will be nearly 300 brews available ranging from traditional bitters to stouts, lagers, amber beers, strong beers and New World IPAs with every style of beer in-between. Full details of the beers are here – www.maltingsfest.co.uk/menu
This is the 28th festival, until 2018 it was housed mainly on one of the Tucker’s Maltings malt floors, but following their closure later that year it moved fully outside to be a tented festival on Osborne Park. Local food will be available during opening hours and there will be live music on the Friday and Saturday evenings – Friday Raspberry Fish & Ron Hunt, Saturday Last Resort & Bar None
The beers will be judged on Thursday 21st April from 11am, with the results being announced about 4pm, shortly before MaltingsFest opens to the public at 5pm
