31st Old Ale Festival The White Horse on Parson’s Green proudly presents our annual 31st Old Ale Festival Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th November

After three decades of beer festivals, we’ve acquired a wealth of experience. Tradition, innovation and a willingness to get stuck in have got the White Horse on Parson’s Green where it is today and we invite beer lovers, writers and friends to join us for a weekend of live music, entertainment and over 60 real ales at our 31st annual Old Ale Festival.

We promise to deliver both traditional and new brews for this festival, along with a few special racking’s. Manager Jez Manterfield says; “Following from last year’s festival this promises to be another celebration of great real ale and entertainment. The winter months can be bitter, but with a warming range of beer styles from old ale to scotch ale this promises to be another weekend to enjoy. Every year brings surprises for our customers and this year is no different as we attempt to bring original, never tried before, brews from all parts of Great Britain. Last year was a great learning experience for this young management team and we hope to repeat the same success this year.”

Live music Friday & Saturday night…Meet the Brewer opportunities on Saturday…our famous BBQ and hog roast depending on the weather.

Some of the beers featured this year are a 4 year matured old ale collaboration from Thornbridge & Darkstar breweries, a cask of Wild Beer Modus Grand Cru and some special racking’s to be announced nearer the time. Other breweries to feature this year will include Hastings, Brentwood, Hepworth, Purple Moose, Kelburn, Titanic, Old Dairy, and acorn amongst others.

Running for three days you can expect to see over 60 beers covering historic styles such as; barley wine, mild, stout, porter, old ale, strong ale, scotch ale and winter warmers. As ever our traditional daily menu will be served alongside some English specials.

The nearest tube to the White Horse is Parson’s Green on the District Line and the 22 bus stops a few minutes’ walk away on the other side of Parson’s Green.
