We are proud to announce that London Black, our independent Nitro Porter, has officially reached over 100 lines pouring across the UK since its launch in April 2021.
Now our best selling beer, London Black ensures more consumer choice and provides an independent, locally brewed craft alternative to market leading macro Stouts.
We are delighted that publicans and pub-goers have and continue to take to London Black, demonstrating a real desire for a sessionable, balanced and independently produced nitro dark beer across the country.
From Newton Abbot to Glasgow, London Black has nationwide coverage and you can find your nearest pint of London Black using our interactive map here, which as of today, has been viewed over 78,000 times by thirsty beer enthusiasts.
As we continue to install lines of London Black for publicans, our upcoming kit expansion could not have come at a better time. With autumn on the way we are heading into the peak period of dark beer consumption.
Jack Hobday, Co-Founder of Anspach & Hobday says of the milestone: “ The whole team at Anspach & Hobday are thrilled with the reception of this beer and proud of the support from our publicans and patrons. It’s a real success story following our crowdfund last year – centred around backing this beer. Autumn looks set to be very busy indeed.”

ABOUT LONDON BLACK
LONDON BLACK (4.4%)
London Black is our session strength Nitro Porter that takes inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter. Creamy, smooth and truly sessionable.
What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to brew it with nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
The beer brings together the rich history and heritage of London Porters, with the modern techniques of brewing nitro beers. The result is a beer that is easy drinking, without sacrificing its character.
