Arran Blonde Post 21.5% Growth

The eagerly awaited Off Trade Sales figures gathered by Nielson’s Research, show Arran Blonde sales jumped by 21.5%  in 2015 making it the 15th best selling Ale in Scotland taking 2% of the off trade market.

Managing Director Gerald Michaluk, said “The figures reflect our overall growth this year which is only capped by our access to working capital. We have a lot of brands doing really well and Blonde is still our best selling ale by far.

I think it is a great introduction ale to the world of Craft Beer and the one that our Craft Beer drinkers keep coming back to.  All Arran Blonde is made by us on the Island of Arran with only natural ingredients and its quality price ration still makes it exceptional value for money”.

Arran Blonde despite its high growth rate is still only the fourth fastest growing brands in the top 15 ales with Punk IPA leading the growth at a massive 96%.

Gerald Commented “The market is exploding and we need to keep up, we have invested heavily in infrastructure over the last year as well as in brewing capacity on Arran. As well as adding a new Brewery to our portfolio in Cambridgeshire, Devils Dyke,  so we can move forward at a much faster pace in 2016/17 .  We want to be able to match Brewdog’s growth going forward”.

Other brands doing exceptionally well were: Joker IPA, and Bitter and Twisted.

In the Recent SIBA Beer X Scottish Beers took over 25% of the gold medals with is exceptional in the context that Scotland represents only 5%  of the UK market.
