Beavertown is launching a Hops on Hops off tour in London this Friday… and free beers awaits

  • Beavertown is kicking off the bank holiday by giving away hundreds of free beers over three locations in London on Friday 26th August, as part of its one-day-only Hops on Hops off tour
  • The brewery will also be giving away 50 free pints of Neck Oil at The Cornershop Bar
  • The tour will stop at three points: the Beavertown billboard on Shoreditch High Street (4pm), Old Street Station (4.30pm), and The Cornershop Bar (4.45pm)

Londoners, if you fancy a free can of Beavertown to kickstart your bank holiday weekend this Friday, we have just the walking tour for you. Beavertown Brewery is beaming down its Hops on Hops off tour with a twist, starting at the Boundary House in Shoreditch at 4pm, handing out hundreds of free cans of beer at each stop.

This isn’t your usual walking tour. In fact, it’s not really a tour at all… it’s a Hops on Hops off (pun intended) experience. Londoners are invited to drop by at one of the stops, grab a free beer and then head off and enjoy the rest of their Friday.

If you’re looking to learn some genuine facts about the city – look elsewhere. This tongue-in-cheek walk from Shoreditch High Street to … the pub, is exactly that. Expect a bit of comedy and some delicious ice cold cans along the way – simple, but effective.

Beer lovers should look out for Beavertown “tour guides” at the Boundary House in Shoreditch High Street (4pm), Old Street Station (4.30pm) and The Cornershop bar (4.45pm).

Tom Rainsford, Marketing Director at Beavertown said, “This week we’re travelling back to London with a ‘Hops on Hops off’ tour that’s guaranteed to kickstart your Bank Holiday weekend.”

“Look out for our tour guides – they’ll be the ones standing under the big Beavertown billboard (it’s hard to miss) on Shoreditch High Street, armed with hundreds of ice-cold cans. If any of their facts sound too out-of-this-world to be true… it’s probably because they are.”

Beavertown will be giving out a selection of beers including Nanobot (2.8%), a light, crisp  super session IPA and Lazer Crush, Beavertown’s alcohol free IPA, as well as 50 vouchers for free pints of their famous Neck Oil IPA redeemable at The Cornershop pub in Shoreditch.

About Beavertown

Beavertown is dedicated to crafting high quality, innovative beers like Gamma Ray APA or Neck Oil SIPA that appeal to the thirsty masses, as well as more experimental brews from our Tempus Project. From brewing to branding, we believe in creativity in everything we do.

  • Now 10 years old, Beavertown began life on a 650L kit in a BBQ joint in Haggerston. The brewery in Tottenham Hale produces 5500L batches (or 9,000,000 pints a year) and our home in Enfield – Beaverworld – produces ten times this, a staggering 90,000,000 pints a year.

  • The official craft beer of Tottenham Hotspur F.C., fans can enjoy a crisp pint of their favourite Beavertown brew in our taproom and microbrewery inside the stadium – the first of its kind.

  • In 2021, Beavertown opened the doors to its first-ever pub, Corner Pin, at the brewery’s home in Tottenham. Popping with vibrant blasts of colour, iconic Beavertown designs and with a menu featuring the whole range of Beavertown’s out-of-this-world beers, Corner Pin encompasses everything that makes the brand unique, bringing all of its creativity and curiosity to the new north London location.

  • Winner of 3 gold medals at the International Beer Challenge for core range beers Gamma Ray & Neck Oil
