Beavertown launches new Cosmic Drop Tropical lager for summer

• Riding the success of Cosmic Drop Berry last year, Beavertown is taking things to sunnier territory with the launch of Cosmic Drop Tropical.

• Cosmic Drop Tropical launches nationwide across supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Ocado, WHSmith and Co-op, convenience stores and select pubs this summer.

• Cosmic Drop Tropical will be available at an RRP of £3 for a 440ml can and £6.75 for a 4x330ml pack.

London, Monday, 18th May 2026 – Beavertown is expanding its Cosmic Drop range with the launch of Cosmic Drop Tropical, a vibrant new lager with fruit created to bring bold tropical flavour and refreshing drinkability to the category this summer.

Building on the momentum of Cosmic Drop Berry, the new Tropical variant combines crisp, easy-drinking lager with juicy tropical fruit notes, delivering a bright and refreshing taste profile designed for warm-weather occasions and laidback social moments.

Developed as a fruit-forward twist on classic lager, Cosmic Drop Tropical has been crafted to balance a clean, crisp lager base with bright tropical character as the new launch reflects growing demand for lighter, fruit-led beer styles that still deliver on drinkability.

Cosmic Drop Tropical joins Beavertown’s growing portfolio of accessible and innovative beers, sitting alongside fan favourites including Neck Oil IPA, Lunar Haze Hazy IPA and the original Cosmic Drop Berry.

The launch also continues Beavertown’s long-standing focus on combining creativity with flavour innovation, with Cosmic Drop Tropical featuring bold, colourful packaging inspired by the brewery’s signature visual universe. Designed to stand out both in fridges and behind the bar, the new flavour aims to bring a fresh burst of energy to the lager category ahead of summer.
