Back by popular demand, Beers and Blues Festival at The Market Stores, Reigate returns over the Bank Holiday Weekend, presented by Gastropub Live.

 

Starting on Thursday 30 April and running for four days, this festival showcases the very best Blues talent with a premium selection of beer.

 

But this festival will be about more than just listening to fantastic live music, there will be a wide variety of international craft lagers and real ales to choose from. This year, the festival is moving up to the second floor of the pub, giving direct access to the charming hidden garden. There will also be a wide selection of mouth-watering food available including BBQ ribs and pulled pork.

 

Manager of The Market Stores, Richard Kavaghan, said: “The whole team at The Market Stores is really looking forward to this weekend. Whether you enjoy live music, fancy a great beer or a just fancy a great night out, there is something for everyone.”

Will Johns Nominated 3 x in the British Blues Awards, his musical pedigree speaks volumes, Will’s father Andy produced Free, The Stones & Van Halen and he counts Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood and George Harrison as his Uncles. Will’s band Son’s of Cream is in international demand

 

Rosco Levee & Friends

Guitar drenched, Hammond infused, Rocking Blues with hints of the best of 70’s British & American Rocking Blues in a Woodstock meets The Raconteurs kind of way, Rosco Levee & The Southern Slide boil over with flavours of London and the Mississippi. Rosco draws comparisons with Clapton and Kossoff and has a stage presence reminiscent of Steve Marriott, yet the band have a style, sound and soul all of their own. Tipped by Classic Rock Magazine as one of the hottest bands to watch in 2014, this band is peerless in their genre and have a string of Festival and shows in the UK and Europe.

 

Mike Panos

Mike Panos is tactually George Michael’s Uncle and is a blues legend in his own right playing the international Blues scene for over 20 years his BB Kingesque tones and licks!
