Brakspear completes the Triple

Brakspear Triple, the award-winning ale from Brakspear Brewing Company, joins Brakspear Bitter and Oxford Gold in a 500ml bottle whilst also sporting a premium new look.

Alison Butler, Assistant Brand Manager of Brakspear Beers, said: “The move back to a 500ml bottle was undertaken following feedback from those who love it the most; Brakspear Triple drinkers. With this is mind we were more than happy to return to the large format and took this opportunity to update the design. We are delighted with the new appearance which we hope will further enhance the appeal of our already hugely successful beers.”

Being bottle conditioned means that Brakspear Triple is as close to real ale as bottled beer can get. Unpasteurised and with no artificial carbonation this natural live product contains a small amount of yeast to deliver a slow secondary fermentation within the bottle. This process presents a wonderful fresh flavour and a pleasingly, natural effervescence.

Brakspear Triple has earned numerous accolades including World’s Best Dark Strong Beer at the World Beer Awards in 2012.

Brakspear beers have been brewed in Oxfordshire since the early 18th Century. The original Brakspear Brewery in Henley on Thames closed in 2002. After undergoing a £1 million redevelopment at its site in Witney to incorporate a new Brakspear Brewhouse, Wychwood Brewery took over the brewing of Brakspear beers.
