Brew York Confirms Opening Date for New Towers Taproom at Carlton Towers

Brew York is delighted to confirm that its brand-new venue, Towers Taproom at Carlton Towers, will officially open its doors on Wednesday 30th July — marking an exciting new chapter for craft beer lovers and the local community alike.

Set within the spectacular grounds of Carlton Towers, a Grade I listed estate with over 1,000 years of history, Towers Taproom is a unique collaboration that brings together Brew York’s bold, flavour-packed beers with the timeless character of one of Yorkshire’s most iconic heritage settings.

To celebrate the opening in true Yorkshire style, Brew York will be hosting a Yorkshire Day Party on Friday 1st August, with the Towers Taproom open from 11:00am and the main event kicking off from 4:00pm. Join the team for a proper Yorkshire knees-up featuring:

·         The full range of Brew York beers, pouring fresh from the taps

·         Street food from the highly acclaimed Yuzu Street Food

·         A variety of cocktails from Ales & Cocktails

·         Live music to keep the party going into the evening

·         A warm welcome to all — including four-legged friends!

Guests will also be able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area, which offers the perfect spot for soaking up the sunshine over the summer holidays — ideal for families, walkers, and anyone looking for a relaxed countryside escape with great beer.

“Yorkshire Day felt like the perfect moment to properly raise a glass and celebrate this new venue with the people who matter most — our community,” said Wayne Smith, Co-Director at Brew York. “We’ve had a fantastic response already and can’t wait to throw open the doors, pour some pints, and bring this beautiful space back to life.”

Formerly the home of Little Black Dog Brewery, the venue will now operate under Brew York’s management, with plans for a full refurbishment in early 2026. Until then, guests can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, regular events, and a showcase of Brew York’s award-winning beers in a truly stunning location.
