Brewers join Cask Marque

Lancaster Brewery and Oakham Ales have both committed themselves to being champions of cask ale by joining Cask Marque as corporate members.  They join  39  brewers and major pubs groups.

Paul Nunny welcomed the new members “Working with Cask Marque will deliver both companies commercial benefits.  It will secure more permanent stockists for their beers and champion pubs who serve great beer”

This was highlighted by comments from Matt Jackson, Managing Director of Lancaster Brewery

“We’re not a micro brewery any more. We have grown over the last few years and with this growth we want to ensure Lancaster beers are served in the best possible condition. Cask Marque helps us to track the quality of our beers out in trade, in addition to us supporting loyal stockists with the Cask Marque accreditation”

Similarly Adrian Posnett of Oakham Ales said:

“Oakham Brewery is joining Cask Marque at this key stage of our development to further reinforce to the trade Oakham’s commitment to being a quality led brewer. Quality and consistency are by-words at Oakham and joining Cask Marque further reinforces that message to all our customers including members of our Oakademy of Excellence.”

Joining Cask Marque is a statement of intent by both brewers.
