After Brussels (2012 & 2016), Liege (2013), Leuven (2014) and Antwerp (2015), this major international brewing event returns to Wallonia. Namur the capital of Wallonia will host the event. Namur, the historical city is famed for its Citadel, its Felicien Rops musea, …. and its (enjoyable) lifestyle and its authentic neighbourhoods where beer is both a cult and cultural drink. Over three days, 85 international judges renowned for their beer tasting expertise will convene.
Over 1,400 beers from across the globe will be grouped by origin, style and typicity before being assessed by a panel of judges. After the three-day selection process, the finest beers will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for each category. The tastings will be held in the historic building of the “Old Arsenal” in the historical centre of Namur. This international competition gives all beer producers a unique benchmarking opportunity and brings them face to face with the finest brews on the planet.
