Butcombe beers join M&S range of bottled ales

Two new beers have been created exclusively by Butcombe Brewery for the M&S range of bottled ales.

31 Hop IPA and Simcoe Pale Ale are being produced by the Bristol based brewer and are the first bottled beers from Butcombe to be sold nationwide by the retailer. Butcombe Bitter is already stocked in 70 M&S outlets across the South-West region.

Martin Holland, National Account Director at Butcombe said, “We have been developing our branded offering into almost every major supermarket in the UK and have supplied Butcombe Bitter to M&S in the South West for some time. To have these exclusive Butcombe beers going into M&S across the UK is a huge accolade for the business and demonstrates the quality of our beers, and the development of its appeal to retailers and consumers alike.”

Simcoe Pale Ale uses a single variety American hop (Simcoe) to produce a crisp ale with passion fruit aromas and bold crisp flavours on the palate.

31 Hop IPA, as the name suggests, uses a blend of 31 different hops including Cascade, Fuggle, Simcoe and Equinox to produce a truly appealing beer with aromas of mint, thyme and grapefruit and a fruity, sherbet taste that’s followed by zesty citrus and warm spice.

Both bottled beers are available at M&S across the UK now. Ends
