Over the past four years, from a standing start, Butcombe has grown its branded distribution and rate of sale to a point where it is now ranked 24th in the UK and 12th in Wales and West in terms of retail* selling over a million bottles a year.

Dr Liam Fox, Conservative MP for North Somerset, who recently visited Butcombe said: “I’m delighted at the success of the brewery and congratulate the whole team, Butcombe Gold is my favourite beer.”

Butcombe is the only brewer to have developed its own dedicated bottled beer website (www.butcombebottles.com).   The Company also produces a Premium Bottled Ale report which is issued monthly to all key decision makers and buyers and has launched a UK Bottled Ale Group on linked-in, Facebook and twitter.  The brewer has also recently launched a cookery book, ‘Cooking with Beer & Cider’, which started selling through Tesco stores located in the South West from August 2014.
