Camden Town Brewery has combined two classics for its freshest beer yet, introducing: Ice Cream Vanilla Lager
Here at Camden Town Brewery, we’re big fans of the classics. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to our freshest scoop yet: Ice Cream Vanilla Lager.
We know what you’re thinking, ice cream… lager? Yes, we’ve really gone and done it, and just in time for a great British heatwave (hopefully). An ice cream inspired beer that’s more refreshing than a soft serve on a warm summer’s day (hold the flake) – it’s the perfect beer for enjoying out in the sunshine with pals.
The inside scoop? We’ve given two timeless favourites a Camden twist to create a fresh, never pasteurised beer brewed with lactose and vanilla essence for a refreshingly clean and creamy lager.
Originally launched last year as an Arch55, our series of small batch innovation beers, Ice Cream Lagerproved to be our most popular with Camden fans. So now it’s back and bigger (literally) than ever, with Ice Cream Vanilla Lager launching in Camden’s first-ever 440ml can.
Created using the best of our brewing know-how, we’ve left the actual ice cream in the freezer but taken all the best bits for a unique, great tasting lager that’s never pasteurised – obviously.
Fred Nesbitt, Head of Marketing at Camden Town Brewery said: “There’s nothing better than enjoying an ice cream (and a beer) on a warm summer’s day, and at Camden Town Brewery we thought why not combine two of our favourite flavours? We took inspiration from a summer classic, vanilla ice cream, to create our very own Ice Cream Vanilla Lager. We know our new beer, complete with a bigger 440ml can, is going to melt the hearts of lager lovers everywhere so be sure to keep an eye out for when it hits shelves this April.”
Our new Camden Ice Cream Vanilla Lager will be available in single units at all your favourite retailers: Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and of course, the Camden web shop for £3 per unit or £12 for a 4-pack.
