DOUBLE AWARD-WINNING VOODOO RANGER HAZY IPA MARKS FIRST YEAR IN THE UK IN STYLE

Lion Little World Beverages’, Voodoo Ranger, celebrates two wins at the globally recognised International Beer Challenge Awards, just one year after the American craft beer brand landed on British soil for the first time. The UK exclusive Hazy IPA (5.3% ABV) which launched online last November took home one silver medal and one bronze medal from the rigorous judging process.

The aim of the International Beer Challenge awards is to reward and promote excellent beers from around the globe providing brewers with a platform to express their beers to trade and consumers. With the ever-growing interest in the beer sector, there are over 80 different award categories to enter reflecting the diversity in brewing today as well as paying homage to traditional beers.

In true Ranger style, the brand picked up a silver medal in the ‘Design and Packaging’ category for its eye-catching and colourful can design, and a bronze medal for taste in the ‘Ale’s’ category for its bold and juicy tropical tasting Hazy IPA, making it a double win for Voodoo Ranger.

Chris MacRae, Voodoo Ranger Brand Developer, said: “We’re extremely proud of where Voodoo Ranger has come in the first year of its UK launch, having started as being sold online only we now have multiple on-trade and supermarket listings around the country. We’ve also just secured some exciting new listings for 2022 so there’s lots of momentum going into next year already, which is great. Winning an International Beer Challenge award carries a number of significant benefits, not only does it acknowledge the skill of our brewers but is an internationally recognised symbol of quality for our products, meaning our customers can be even more certain Voodoo Ranger is a great tasting beer. Winning a medal for the taste of our beer and to receive this level of recognition at the International Beer Challenge awards is fantastic.”
