A micro brewery in Suffolk has been recognised on the international stage, winning 2 gold medals at prestigious The World Beer Awards.
St Peter’s Brewery in Bungay won two gold medals for its Ruby Red Ale and Black IPA at the annual World Beer Awards, which were announced at the Hilton London Olympia.
The World Beer Awards form part of the World Drinks Awards, which recognise the best in all internationally recognised styles of drinks.
Hundreds of products are entered and undergo rigorous testing and tasting before the overall winners are announced. “These gold medals at the World Beer Awards recognise the hard work and dedication of our team at St Peter’s and are a clear endorsement of the excellent quality beers we are brewing,” says Steve Magnall, CEO at St Peter’s Brewery. “The brewery is going from strength to strength and awards such as these are a fantastic achievement,” he adds.
St Peter’s Brewery produces a range of craft beers including ales, stouts, IPAs and fruit beers, as well as gluten free, organic and alcohol-free beers.
