The Guild is looking to co-opt a new director, and would love to hear from candidates interested in taking on the role of Treasurer.
We are in the midst of finding an accountancy firm to take over the day to day running of the guild’s finances, but we need someone on the board responsible for oversight as well as reporting regularly to the rest of the board and the guild itself at the AGM. This role involves a little more responsibility than the others on the board, and so an honorarium of £1,000 is paid annually to account for the time involved. As usual, reasonable expenses are also paid. The successful applicant will be co-opted to the board until the next AGM in May or June 2024, when they will need to stand for election or step down.
