Guild Members Invite: Champion Beer of Britain

Although there is no Great British Beer Festival this year, CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain is still going ahead and you are invited to hear the results.

On Tuesday 19th May, CAMRA's Cambridge Beer Festival is hosting Champion Beer of Britain judging, and everyone is welcome to come and hear the results. Over 60 of the very best British cask beers will be judged by a mix of trained CAMRA judges, publicans, brewers, trade suppliers and, of course, Guild members.

To accommodate the announcements of the winners at 4pm, the Festival (unusually) is open all day and it’s free to get in from noon to 4pm. It seems very appropriate that CAMRA’s longest running beer festival is hosting what is probably the oldest consumer beer competition in the world. So come along and celebrate cask beer.
