CAMRA is publishing Real Heritage Pubs of the Midlands on 17 April, and launching it at Five Leaves Bookshop in Nottingham, at the CAMRA Members’ Weekend shop and also in a pub in Digbeth, Birmingham on 21 April.
Guild members are more than welcome to attend the Birmingham event at the Woodman pub, New Canal St, Digbeth, Birmingham, West Midlands B5 5LG, on 21 April at 1 pm
Real Heritage Pubs of the Midlands shines a light on pubs in the Midlands which have interior features of special historic or architectural significance.
The book, subtitled ‘Pub Interiors of Special Historic Interest’, aims to highlight the importance of preserving our historic pub interiors at a time when we are seeing five net pub closures a week across the Midlands.
