I’m thrilled to invite you to the launch of the Sheffield Beer Report 2024 on Friday, 1st March from 5pm until 6pm in the Brewery Room at the iconic Sheffield Tap.
Join myself and Councillor Martin Smith, Chair of Sheffield’s Economic Development and Skills Policy Committee, as we discuss the findings of this fully revised and updated report supported by the University of Sheffield that explores the vibrant beer and brewing industry in Sheffield and the broader South Yorkshire Mayoral Authority, its benefits to the local economy and how it has firmly placed the region on the map as a UK destination for ale lovers.
The launch event will feature copies of the report to take away, networking opportunities, pub nibbles and of course, a selection of handcrafted alcoholic and alcohol-free beers from local breweries.
