Join Ossett Brewery at The Hop in Sheffield for a celebration of English hops. A mini beer festival featuring beers produced with new-season fresh (green) English hops will run from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st October.

The focal point of the event will be a talk and tasting session on Saturday 20th October. Ossett Head Brewer Paul Spencer will be joined by hop farmers Ali and Richard Capper of Stocks Farm, Worcestershire and Paul Corbett of hop merchants Charles Faram.
Starting at 2pm, participants will learn about the English hop industry and how hops influence the flavor and aroma of beer. Samples of new season hops will be available to “rub and sniff” and a number of beers will be sampled to appreciate different hop varieties in a range of beer styles.
Tickets for the talk and tasting session are priced at £5 and are available from The Hop in Sheffield or direct from Ossett Brewery. As many beers as possible will be available on the bar for this event.
