Guild member Barrie Pepper has been in touch top share details of a charity auction.
I have five pieces of Breweriana from the former Leeds brewery of Joshua Tetley & Son which I wish to auction online to raise funds for the FoodShare charity at St Aidan’s Church in Sheepscar, Leeds. Every Saturday essential foods and other items such as toilet goods are distributed from the Church to as many as 600 families in need. Local firms, other churches and folk from all around Leeds give goods generously. But it’s never enough. The charity needs money and here’s your chance to help out.
To take part: Send your bid for any or all of the five items described below to me, BARRIE PEPPER, by Messenger or Email at barrie.pepper@gmail.com and when the auction closes on Sunday 9th October whoever bids highest for each lot are the winners. Shortly afterwards arrangements will be made to deliver the item(s) to them and collect the cash!.
