Guild members are invited to come and taste two new beers devised and brewed by guild member Jane Peyton in collaboration with The Botanist brew pub & restaurant on Kew Green, London.
‘Midsummer Gold’ is a traditional English pale ale for matching with Sunday pub roast, and ‘Limey Porter’ is a Porter with kaffir leaves (giving a lime aroma and flavour) to drink as dessert.
The Botanist always has six cask beers available – brewed one metre away from the bar! They vary in style from Mild, and Stout to Pale Ale and Kolsch. The pub also stocks a selection of domestic and imported beer brands such as Oakham, Thornbridge, Flying Dog, and Odell.
