Friends and former colleagues are invited to attend a memorial event for Shepherd Neame Communications Executive Johnny Homer, who passed away last month.
Johnny, 56, lived in Whitstable and worked for Shepherd Neame for eight years. He was a journalist and published author, writing seven books on beer and pubs, with an eighth to be released later this year. He was also a popular broadcaster, best known for his regular contributions to The Robert Elms Show on BBC Radio London during the past two decades.
His memorial event is being held at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham next Thursday, August 26. It will take place from 2pm to 6pm, with spoken tributes at 2.45pm.
