NEW Beer & Food Pairing Course

Master Cicerone® and Doemens Biersommelier, Mirella Amato, is pleased to announce the launch of her new online beer and food pairing course. Designed for industry professionals, Mastering Beer & Food Pairing brought to you by Beerology® is an easy to follow, step-by-step guide that will show you how to master pairing beer with food.

“I’ve been honing the content and structure of this course for years because I wanted to make sure it was both practical and thorough.” says Amato. “I am excited to finally share the result. This course empowers those who work with beer to take advantage of the added value that food pairing recommendations bring to any beer selection; it provides all the information you need to consistently and deliberately put together great pairings.”

The course is divided into short bite-size video lessons. Each section builds on the content of the previous one, increasing your understanding of food pairing theory and improving your ability to confidently pair beer with food. Lessons come with worksheets, activities, quizzes, homework and assignments that will help strengthen and confirm your understanding, along the way. Having completed Mastering Beer & Food Pairing, brought to you by Beerology®, you will be able to find the perfect beer to compliment any food so you can create exceptional dining experiences. An online review by Advanced Cicerone® and Beer Educator Scott Fielder states “The practical value of this course cannot be overstated; what you get from this course you will be able to use.”

The course is available online and can be completed from any location, at any time. For those who are new to the online learning format, there is a section with tips and resources to help with scheduling and focus, and make the most of the virtual learning experience.

While both new and more experienced beer professionals will get something out of this course, Mastering Beer & Food pairing brought to you by Beerology® does start at an intermediate level; students should already be familiar with styles and comfortable tasting and describing beers before signing up.

TESTIMONIALS

Here’s what graduates are saying:

“I honestly cannot recommend this course enough if you are in any way interested in dining out. You will sharpen your beer skills, yes, but you also will be able to increase you and your guests’ pleasure in a very specific and considered manner.”

Christopher Wilton, Certified Sommelier & Restaurant Consultant

“I completely recommend this course if you are looking to expand your knowledge about beer and food pairing! I have spent time pairing beer and food on my own before this course but didn’t understand the subtleties behind WHY certain pairings worked and others did not. As a result of this course, I am now equipped with a toolbox to make well designed and informed pairing decisions, and to explain them. Mirella is a great teacher, and the lessons are approachable and fun :)”

Alaina Parchmann, Beer Enthusiast & Foodie, @eye.of.the.beerholder86

“As an Advanced Cicerone®, I wish I had this class while prepping for Certified and above. Master Cicerone® Mirella Amato raised my awareness about pairing beyond my previous experience in food and beer. I learned how to take a systematic approach to beer pairing rather than relying strictly on my gut and experience.  We also covered advanced strategies I hadn’t considered before. This class is a must for anyone who wants to be a professional and educate or lead in the beer and food space.”
