The Guild is launching a new four-part Q&A series to both celebrate our 2020 Guild Award winners and their award-winning work, and give members an opportunity to connect with and learn from each other.
Join us for our first event in the series:
Campaigns with a Cause… In Conversation with Oliver Fozard, Jez Galaun & Xochitl Benjamin
Wednesday, March 10th 2021
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Online via Zoom
In this session, we’ll hear from:
- Oliver Fozard from Rooster’s Brewing Co, 2020 Brewer of the Year
- Jez Galaun & Xochitl Benjamin from Brixton Brewery, winners of the Guild Award for Best Beer Writer, Corporate Communications
We’ll be discussing how beer can be used to shine a light on important issues within our industry and beyond, including:
- Rooster’s Mind Games collaboration beer and the conversation it started around mental health in the beer industry, along with
- Brixton’s Characters of Coldharbour Lane campaign which explores Brixton Brewery’s place in its local community and how that community has changed over the years.
We’ll also check in with both businesses on how they’re getting through the pandemic and take questions from attendees.
The conversation will be hosted by Natalya Watson, Guild Secretary and award-winning podcast host.
