A LEADING North East leisure chain has started trading with one of the world’s biggest drinks brands, as part of its plan to expand the beer ranges it offers.
The Malhotra Group, which runs pubs, restaurants and hotels across the region, is now working with Molson Coors after years of stocking draught beers and lagers from just one brewery.
The new relationship with Molson Coors is part of a strategic plan to grow the offering for customers across all of the sites.
Earlier this year a number of craft beers from producers including Brooklyn Brewery and Erdinger were introduced at Osbornes bar at Osborne Road, Jesmond and The Three Mile Inn, Gosforth and proved highly successful.
And the positive reception from drinkers to the wider choice has led to the company expanding its offering still further, with draught Carling now installed at all of the Malhotra leisure sites.
“We’ve been listening to what our customers have to say and to our managers at our various bars and with that in mind, have decided to expand our ranges,” said Atul Malhotra, Managing Director of Malhotra Leisure.
“We are constantly looking at what we offer our customers and our aim is always to exceed their expectations.
“We believe this new relationship with Molson Coors will help us achieve that.”
Neil Stewart, Regional Director from Molson Coors, said the company was delighted to supply Carling to the Malhotra Leisure Group, enabling their customers to enjoy Britain’s favourite lager.
